Blacksmiths Arms

A charming traditional village local pub, dating back to 1648. Bar is open Wednesday to Saturdays 7- 11pm, and Sundays 4-11pm.

Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway

Narrow gauge railway set in a delightful and secluded 30 acres on the North Downs of Kent. It is open on the 1st Sunday of the month from Easter to October.

The car park opens at 10.30 with trains from 11 till 4.30. It is on the Bredgar – Hollingbourne road at the Warren, Bredgar.

Tea Room at Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway

A recent addition to the site, the new tea room is open Wednesday to Sunday, 9-3pm. Provides fresh-ground coffee, sandwiches, and a wide range of delicious homemade cakes.

Ringlestone Inn

The Ringlestone Inn is a 15 minute walk from Wormshill and is set in a beautiful grade-II listed building dating back to 1533. Originally a hospice for monks, this country pub & restaurant now offers a seasonal, artisan menu and a wide selection of real ales, local wines, and craft spirits.

Hook and Hatchet Inn

The Hook and Hatchet Inn in Hucking, about 4.5 miles from Wormshill, is a dog-friendly free-house providing a wide selection of beers, ales, spirits and wines and also fantastic homemade pub food that also has a range of outdoor facilities. An ideal destination for a walk from Wormshill, or a shorter walk through the Hucking Estate.

Doddington Place Gardens

Doddington Place – featuring a Historic House Garden of the Year Award shortlisted garden – is a large residence surrounded by wooded countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the North Downs. Gardens are open Spring to September, every Sunday, Wednesday, and Bank Holiday Mondays from 11-5pm.
